Problem
NMC Mechanical received a plumbing service request from Kohl’s located at 1605 1st St S, Willmar, MN 56201 due to motion sensor sinks not functioning properly. Store staff reported that the sinks were unresponsive and not operating as intended.
Challenge
Upon inspection, the technician identified that the issues were caused by burnt batteries in the motion sensors and clogged hoses containing dirt and debris. The challenge was to restore full sink functionality efficiently while ensuring all components were cleaned, powered correctly, and tested to prevent repeat issues.
Solution
Technician Luke arrived on-site at 3:00 PM and performed the following corrective actions: Replaced all burnt batteries in the motion sensor assemblies. Cleared dirt and debris from the clogged hoses to restore proper water flow. Tested each motion sensor sink to verify correct activation and consistent operation.
Results:
