Water Dispenser Leak Repair
Problem
The water dispenser at the location was leaking due to worn components. Upon inspection, the technician identified that the coupling and two hoses connected to the dispenser were deteriorated and actively leaking, posing a risk of water damage and improper operation.
Challenge
The repair required safely working with both water and electrical connections. Proper shutdown procedures were necessary to prevent electrical hazards and additional leaks. Care was also needed to ensure that replacement components were installed correctly to avoid recurring issues.
Solution
The technician disconnected power to the dispenser and shut off the water supply to secure the work area. The damaged coupling and hoses were carefully removed. New replacement coupling and hoses were supplied and installed according to specifications, with all connections properly aligned and tightened. After installation, water and power were restored, and the system was thoroughly tested.
Results:
The water dispenser operated normally with proper water flow and no leaks. All components functioned as intended, and no further issues were observed. The work area was cleaned, old parts were disposed of properly, and the unit was returned to service in good working condition.
