Septic and Grease Trap Pump-Out Service

Problem

The store required plumbing service after issues were identified within the septic/grease system. A full inspection revealed that the septic tank was heavily filled with grease, oils, solids, and wastewater, restricting proper system function and creating the need for immediate pump-out and cleaning.

Challenge

The primary challenge was safely performing a complete septic pump-out while ensuring all grease buildup and hardened residue were fully removed. The system needed to be cleaned thoroughly without damaging internal components, followed by verification that the pump was operating correctly. Proper disposal of waste and full documentation were required to meet regulatory and client standards.

Solution

Technician Tim arrived on-site at 7:14 AM and confirmed that a full pump-out was necessary. All accumulated oils, grease, solids, and wastewater were pumped from the septic system. The interior walls and baffles were manually scraped to remove remaining grease and hardened buildup. The interior was rinsed as needed to ensure no residue remained. The pump was inspected to confirm proper operation and absence of damage or wear. The lid was securely reinstalled and sealed. The surrounding area was cleaned and restored. All waste was transported to an approved disposal facility in compliance with regulations. Full service documentation was completed, including volume pumped and system observations.

Results:

The septic system was fully cleaned, restored, and verified to be operating properly. The job was completed at 11:36 AM, leaving the site clean and safe with no additional issues observed. All work was documented according to NMC Mechanical standards, and the system was returned to proper working condition.
