Problem
On August 25, 2025, NMC Mechanical received a service request from TJ MAXX #0283 regarding the rear roll-up door at 1455 South Semoran Blvd, Casselberry Commons, Casselberry, FL 32707. Store management reported that the door was making loud noises and not operating properly, creating both an operational and safety concern for the store.
Challenge
A full inspection revealed that the existing roll-up door was beyond repair and required complete removal and replacement. The challenge was to safely remove and dispose of the old door, install a new system, and restore secure, smooth operation without disrupting store operations—while ensuring full compliance with safety standards.
Solution
Technicians Nathan and Carlos were assigned to the project and arrived on-site at 10:32 AM on August 27, 2025, checking in with store management before starting work. The existing roll-up door was fully removed and properly disposed of. The door opening was prepared to ensure proper fit for the new system. All required materials were delivered and staged on-site prior to installation. A new roll-up door system was installed, including tracks, brackets, rollers, and mounting hardware. The door was properly aligned, tensioned, and balanced for safe and reliable operation. A locking mechanism and required accessories were installed. The system was thoroughly tested to verify smooth operation and safety compliance.
Results:
The rear roll-up door was fully replaced and restored to proper working condition. The service was completed at 5:36 PM, with client sign-off obtained at 5:39 PM. The work area was cleaned upon completion, the door was fully operational at handover, and no return visit was required.
